Primary Purpose:
Work a flexible part-time schedule supporting students at one of eight elementary campuses:
Baty Elementary
Creedmoor Elementary
Del Valle Elementary
Gilbert Elementary
Hillcrest Elementary
Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary
Popham Elementary
Smith Elementary
Part-time = less than 19 hours a week
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency)
Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by employee.

Qualities of an Effective Tutor
The tutor exhibits qualities such as the following:
- Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job.
- Daily flexibility to changeover to different assignments as dictated by campus administration and school needs.
- Correct unsafe conditions in work area that could cause an accident and inform campus principal of any conditions that are not correctable immediately.
- Shall comply with District policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
- Shall comply with the standards of conduct set out in Board Policy DH (Legal) and (Local) and with any other policies, regulations, and guidelines that impose duties, requirements, and standards.
