Primary Purpose:

Provide leadership and coordination to align and articulate instructional programing in the area of Science.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Certification:             

Master’s degree from accredited university with a major in assigned subject or closely related field(preferred)

Valid Texas Teacher certificate in Science field

Certified Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS) appraiser

 

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation

Ability to evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness

Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners

Ability to interpret data

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

 

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in subject area assigned

Administrative and leadership experience
