Primary Purpose:

Provides leadership and coordination to align and articulate instructional programming in the area of Mathematics.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Certification:             

Master’s degree from an accredited university or enrolled in a Master's degree program(preferred)

Valid Texas Teacher certificate in mathematics field or related certification 

Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser (or obtain within 90 days of eligibility)

Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by employee.

 

Required Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years’ teaching experience in subject area assigned

Administrative and/or leadership experience

 

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation

Ability to evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness

Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners

Ability to interpret data

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
