Primary Purpose:

 Supervise students in grades Pre-K - 5 including: assisting with homework, facilitating reading and literacy activities, providing enrichment games and activities designed to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual,

emotional, physical and social growth in an after school setting.  Hours worked may vary depending on campus needs.  Classes are subject to cancellation due to low attendance or budget fluctuations. In the event of a class cancellation, Instructors will be provided with as much notice as possible.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma, GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or regional accrediting agency) or approved high school internship.

 

Education/Certification

 

Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50) paid            

 by employee.

 

Required Experience: 

Experience working with school based personnel, community groups and/or youth groups.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

Working with students

Strong behavior management

Classroom lesson planning

Experience teaming

Ability to multi-task
